His life was changed last week when an ant crawled into Eden's potty and couldn't get out. He seriously watched it for 20 minutes and squealed with joy.
After he is punished for disobedience, he'll often come over and give us a kiss.
When I bring out the tray with our daily tea and snacks, he does a little dance, runs over to the table and climbs up into his chair. He then patiently waits while I make him his "tea" (milk in a coffee cup). As soon as he gets his snack (today it was doughnuts) he promptly dips it in his "tea" and eats it.
Love that little boy.

Papa Clarkson and I are talking about diarrhea and vomiting, and the sad reality that it is an everyday part of the lives of so many children here (due to unclean water, poor sanitation habits, etc.).
Eden's response: "My heart has diarrhea."
Yesterday, Papa Clarkson walks into the room wearing a t-shirt and a pair of comfy pants (a rareity- usually he's in dress pants and a buttton down shirt.
Eden (giggling): "Daddy, you look nice. You look like a man-princess!"
Eden had a much treasured single M&M and a gummy bear left from her treats from Ethiopia. She bit the M&M in half and gave half to her little brother.
