Now here

I'm sure you're all wondering what's been going on in our past weeks. Here's a brief rundown of the lame, glamorous, not-so-glamorous, and the funny.
1) Celebrated a beautiful little girl's one year birthday. Theme = zoo. Will write more on this precious little life in a separate post.
2) Hung out with some really wonderful ladies. It was just so good for my soul. I'm so grateful to have them in my life, especially as we continue to miss our wonderful family and friends back in the US (BOOOOOO).
3) Headed into battle- potty training Mr. Isaaq. He's been rockin the house. So proud of that little guy.
4) Enjoyed beautiful sunshine and 70 degree weather every single day.
5) Helped Isaaq pull a chair off his head.
6) Helped Isaaq pull a chair off his head again.
7) Was told that my pancake making skills were disappointing because I couldn't make Mickey Mouse shapes like Nanners.
8) Bravely watched my husband and house helper kill a rat.
9) Marveled at how quickly my kids can make friends.
10) Went on a date with a handsome man. Had some super delicious banana milkshakes.
11) Watched our sweet Atira pull herself to standing...again...again...and again
12) Drank some great tea.
13) Listen to the pure unrestrained laughter of sweet Eden as we played 'thumb war.' She's legitimately good at it, I'm legitimately pretty crappy.
14) Made some pretty ridiculous language blunders
15) Finally completely recovered from jet lag. Woof.
16) Skyped/talked with loved ones. Sooo good:)
