And. I'm officially late birthday celebrating again. Writing about the birthdays of my dear family. I've over one month overdue on this one. Mr. Eric Johnson's big day on November 25. He's the second newest member of my family (the newest member of our family is our sweet little son Isaaq) and joined our family on June 19, 2010, when he married my beautiful little sister Erin. I couldn't have picked a better guy for my little sister. And, get this- I actually didn't even try to scare him away! Gasp! Shock! Stunned! I know, totally uncharacteristic of me. They started dating when I was in South Korea and I met him for the first time at the airport when we were returning from Korea. When I first found out they were dating I did all the internet searches I could do. Couldn't find anything suspicious. And that's because this guy is just great. My sister has impecable taste. He fits perfectly into our wild and crazy family and has a rock solid faith. Of his many very likeable qualities, this one is my favorite. I love that he's married to my sister and that I now have someone who watches her 24/7 (well as much as he's able to- big sister is ALWAYS overprotective of little sisters). He's funny and isn't afraid to laugh at himself. He's great with his little niece and I know he'll be great with his nephew as well when they get to meet. Anyways. A very happy (very belated) happy birthday to my dear brother-in-law! We love you! And... to celebrate... we enjoyed the very beautiful Kenyan countryside and enjoyed an authentic Thanksgiving dinner- an amazing treat!
