Here we are again. Eden is sleeping. Seth is enjoying another game of Settlers of Catan, and I'm relaxing, with an occasional prowl to catch the mosquitos. I'm generally not a very violent person, except when it comes to mosquitoes. Punks. Today, I went in to get Eden up from her nap and there were 10 mosquitoes on the outside of Eden's mosquito neet! The nerve! How dare they try to get a bite of my precious little baby.
It was a fairly normal day (whatever "normal" means). Yesterday, I stubbed my little pinky toe pretty good. It's all black and painful looking right now. I routinely show it to Seth in hopes of getting a little sympathy. Sometimes, it works! Eden is enjoying more solid foods. Tried out green beans for the first time this week- and loves them! We enjoyed one of the brownie mixes that my wonderful in-laws sent (via some guests who came from the States). Delicious! It really is the simple things in life that make life wonderful. Eden brings so much joy to our hearts. It's just amazing to hear her squeal with joy when we come in to get her up from her nap. Today she would suck on my nose, and then pull back to watch me laugh. It doesn't get much better than that. I'm thinking that one of these days when I have a lot of motivation (and time) I'm going to try to knit a mat for Eden out of plastic bags, that way we could take her outside to play. It's basically rocks everywhere here, so not a very amiable environment for a wee one to play in. We'll see if I actually get around to making it. Well, I'm tired, I think it's time for bed. Hugs!
