A phone conversation I just had with Handsome Hubby:
Setting: He is driving home from work. I'm in our kitchen stirring the soup for supper.

Handsome Hubby: "Hi love! Sorry I'm late! Didn't mean to stand you up on Valentine's Day"
Me: "Oh, it's ok. I'm all right"
Handsome Hubby: "I just couldn't leave Jeff."
Me: "Ok, now I'm jealous"

Best Valentine's Day conversation ever.

He went on to explain what he actually meant by "I just couldn't leave Jeff." Jeff is his co-worker. They're doing a HUGE (think in the amount of 2,500+ people) food distribution over these next couple of days to some very needy people. So, he stayed late at the office to help his colleague.
But much funnier to take the conversation out of context, isn't it?
