And now! My sister Tanks (aka Elisha!) birthday. She came into the world on March 22nd. I actually remember accompanying my mom when she went for Whittle Baby Tankys ultrasound. Mostly I remember listening to her heartbeat and watching what I thought was static (but was actually a baby). And the ultrasound technician also put some of the jelly/slip-n-slide substance on my belly that she had put on my mom's as well. I loved it. Those were the days...

And now, Baby Tankys is 21. Gasp. I can't believe she's that old already. Her heart is my favorite thing about her. Sometimes she may try to convince you that she's tough, but deep down she cares, more than she can ever tell you or you'll ever know. She cares a lot. I see it in her big brown eyes. She loves, a lot. Having three big sisters can't always be easy, that's a lot of opinions coming your direction, but she handles it well. Her three big sisters love her a lot and would do anything for her. She lives on junk food. She seriously eats more junk food than anyone else I know, and she's like 72 pounds (ok, maybe not, which reminds me of a really funny story about how she was trying to gain weight so she could donate blood, only to find out like the day before she'd planned on giving blood that they'd raised the weight requirement and she didn't meet the new requirement:). One time I made a shepherd's pie for supper (I'd never made one before) and I was so shocked because she actually liked it and I didn't think she'd eat anything unless it had Cheetos and Pop-Tarts in it. Anyways. On Tanky's birthday- 'our' baby birds were born. A mommy bird made a nest in one of our flowering bushing and the two eggs hatched on Elisha's birthday! What fun! Happy (belated) birthday Tanks! We love you!
