Very proud parents of this little girl: We decided we weren't going to try potty training quite yet (as she's not even two), but a terrible yeast diaper rash visciously entered the scene. To help her get better faster we decided to leave her diaper off as much as possible throughout the day, and encouraged her to try to tell us when she needed to go potty. As we expected we had a fair share of accidents. I was eager for her diaper rash to clear up so that we could get her back into her diapers (and I would be relieved of the constant clean up duty:). She had the poopy somewhat figured out, but Number 1 seemed to remain a mystery. Yesterday, however, Eden decided that she'd figured things out, and started using her potty all on her own. Yesterday- no accidents, today- no accidents! Two very proud parents. And she's happy to get her raisin treat whenever she uses her "big girl potty." As of today, we're down to using diapers only when she's sleeping. We're of course, expecting that some days/weeks will be better than others (and she may even take some steps backwards when the new baby comes), but today was a good day and we're so proud of our little Eden!
