Thanksgiving Day. As you might expect we celebrated Thanksgiving in a unique way. We bought a sheep from the animal market, named it "Delicious Lunch," took it home, and then today, we slaughtered it (actually, a neighbor did most of the actual slaughtering) and indeed had a very delicious lunch. We did this to celebrate today's holiday celebrated by our friends here. Today they remember Abraham when we went to the mountain, to sacrifice his son, but instead God provided a ram to sacrifice instead of Abraham's son. We shared the meat with our neighbors, and walked around the neighborhood for a bit, greeting our friends. It was a wonderful day. This video is of Eden, on our way home from the animal market after purchasing "Delicious Lunch." She's mimicking "Delicious Lunch" (who was in the back of our truck). We were quite impressed.
