Our little Eden is now one year and 11 days old. She has been busy busy busy yet is an absolute delight. She's now starting to give us "Eden kisses" when we ask for them and is standing on her own (without any support) pretty well now. She actually just took her first steps yesterday! We were so excited and subsequently she was too. Here's a quick update on all things Eden:)

-climbing on our backs
-breastfeeding
-anything with fruit or some type of carbs
-turning over her sippy cup to watch the water come out
-bubbles in her bath
-the book "Hop on Pop"
-being outside
-licking rocks
Dislikes
-taking naps
-getting her diaper changed
-getting dressed
Newly acquired abilities include
-turning pages when we read to her
-walking (though not terribly gracefully)
-feeding herself with a spoon (again not terribly gracefully
-responding (either positively or negatively) when we tell her "no"
-feeding herself with a spoon (again not terribly gracefully
-responding (either positively or negatively) when we tell her "no"
-bouncing up and down when we tell her to "bounce"
We simply delight in her. I can't believe how crazy I am about her. I figured out that you can't really understand how your mom feels about you until you become a mom yourself. Does that make sense? I'd always thought that my mom was a bit nuts about us (me and my sisters), but now I understand her nuttiness a bit more:) Being a mom is the hardest job in the entire world but at the same time, it's the absolute best job in the whole world.
