So this post is about officially one month overdue. October 31 was my delightful Nanners' birthday. I love her a lot. She's my mom. My very own mom (well, I do share her with my sisters and many other people, but you get the picture). She's always been a great cheerleader for me and her sassy sarcastic comments (and/or offers to beat someone up or write him/her a letter)whenever someone is cause me problems always brings a smile to my face. I miss her dearly as we're living a couple of time zones apart right now, but her support means more to me than anything else in the whole world. I know it's not easy for her either. She's a funny lady, quite witty to say the least and always has a goofy story to share about her day. She's gifted with a servant heart and is always looking for ways to be a blessing to others. You can count on her to speak her mind (whether she should or not:)- a trait I think she inherited from my dear late Grandpa Loren) and she loves to cook up a good meal for anyone who might be sitting in her kitchen on any particular day/night. I remember in high school my friends would regularly frequent our dinner table and she was always happy to make plenty of food for any extra guests (even after a long days work at school). She's a wonderful woman and so dear to my heart. Happy (belated) birthday Nanners! We love you! PS: For those that are wondering for Nanners birthday we actually had a special meal and celebration for Isaaq's birth that we shared with our neighbors. Very fun!
