Our little bundle of fire. Oh, how we delight in her. Every day I try to write down something about Eden's day, who she is, what she did, how she made us feel, etc. Sometimes I get behind and have to fill in a couple of days at a time, but so far, I've done a pretty good job of keeping up. Some days there's more to write, some days less. This was something my mom did for my sisters and I for our first year of life. I've so enjoyed reading about my first year and hope that someday Eden too, will enjoy reading about her first year. Here's an excerpt from this past week:

Monday, Feb.16- when we put her down for naps Eden will usually scream for five minutes (or more) before falling asleep. Those five minutes are the longest five minutes of my life. Cries in her sleep as well.
Tuesday, Feb. 17- Bath day! Loved splashing in the tub and getting mommy and daddy wet. Had a great time
Wednesday, Feb. 18- Rode around on daddy's shoulders. Get's so excited when other people share in her excitement. Here's what I think she's thinking, "Hey mom! Look at me! Oh, you're looking at me! You're so excited! Ah, I'm so excited! I can't believe how much fun I'm having! This is so much fun!"
Thursday, Feb. 19- Definitely starting to maneuver around more (though is not yet crawling), likes to move around on our laps, lean against the arm of the couch and look around at her kingdom
Friday, Feb. 20- cuddled and giggled with mom for a while on the bed. Later, when laying in her crib, fake sneezed about 10 times- went through the whole process each time- wheeze, squeal, gasp, fake sneeze! Too funny
Satuarday, Feb. 21- At one point during her nap, Eden rolled over onto her belly. When she woke up, she realized she was on her belly and started screaming. I went in and picked her up. Her smiling face was covered in boogers (from rubbing her face against the mattress). Wish I could have gotten a picture of that to show her friends when she's 16.
Sunday, Feb. 22- tries to eat sitting up, not very easy when you're breastfeeding
Monday, Feb. 23- rolls over like a pro, especially from her back to her belly
